Gordon Rendell was born and raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador. Spending much of his childhood in near-by North West River, Labrador with his Grand-Father working on snowmobiles, and other equipment. Growing up in HV-GB, he lived for local sporting venues and outdoor recreation. Leaving Labrador after high school to attend University. Leading to employment opportunities and ventures over the following 18 years. Returning to university for a brief period completing business and marketing studies.

In early 2013, after enjoying a visit home to Labrador and witnessing the potential with natural resource growth and feeling other aspects of what he missed, he made the big decision to move home.

Proud of his Labrador Inuit heritage and traditions and having been fortunate to live throughout Canada, in St. John’s NFLD, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, British Columbia and Quebec.  He now resides in beautiful, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador. Volunteering with numerous groups and committees. Making visitors feel welcome in this beautiful area and promoting all its unique qualities.

Gordie has been an avid outdoorsman, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling for hours and spending quality time with family and friends.

Taking pride in being a good communicator and never far from his phone, along with being ready and willing to help, he has chosen to live in Labrador, and this is where he wants to be.
