March 1, 2020 North West River - Nutak

March 1, I guided two fine gentleman from Quebec. I met them in Happy Valley-Goose Bay and escorted them up to my home in North West River, Labrador. We left the next morning and began our trip to Nutak and close to Okak. We travelled through Sebaskachu, Mulligan Hills, Separation Lake, Witch Doctor, Burnt Lake, Postville, Tikkigatsuk and on to Hopedale for the first night stay. Leaving the next day for Natuashish and on to Nain for the following night. Off North through Webb’s Bay, the Kiglapait Mountains and continuing to Nutak. The weather heading up was absolutely perfect. Little to no wind and sunshine. Seen a plenty, wolf tracks, Caribou and fresh Polar Bear tracks. Will add more later.
